How late on a car payment can you be before they report to the credit bureau? - car payment

There are 20-25 days late, before I could pay my car payment this month, anyone know how long to wait before informing the Credit Bureau? This is my late payment on the other side, that was last month, but only a few days late. These two months are the only times we have later in the year and a half we had dropped the vehicle. I appreciate any input you may have. Thank you!
